Seattle, WA

Spending a week in Seattle with friends and family was just what we needed. We were able to have dinner twice with our nephew who is stationed in the area. We are very proud of his military accomplishments and enjoyed hearing about his training and adventures. We also were finally able to visit our good friends that we met in Costa Rica many years ago. They took us kayaking on Lake Washington and site seeing through downtown Seattle. Our 25th anniversary also happened on this stop and we decided to watch the Mariners to celebrate. Touristy sites and activities included Pikes Place Market, Alki beach, the Freemont troll, the Chihuly exhibit at Seattle Center, Stadium High school in Tacoma and we wrapped it all up with a duck tour.
