Awning straps

If you have the small window awnings on your RV, you have probably had the straps buzz and vibrate during even a small wind. We like to sleep with our windows open, so the noise from the straps can be a major distraction during the night. To solve this issue, I found that putting a twist or two into each strap will prevent the wind from creating a standing wave on the strap, which is the source of the noise when the wind is passing over it.
