Sun Valley, Idaho

After a nice long stop in Boise to catch up with family and friends, we moved the bus to Ketchum for a week of enjoying all that the Idaho mountains have to offer. As an added bonus, a group of my high school friends decided to meet up with us during that week. I had a great time catching up with the boys and doing a paragliding jump. I would highly recommend trying the paragliding to anyone. It takes your breath away being able to experience the freedom of soaring through the air over some amazing scenery. After the boys went back to work, Danelle and I got in two great hikes. Our first hike was into Alpine Lake, which was a nice little hike into some classic Sawtooth scenery. Our second hike was into Imogene lake, which is a little further and offers some of my favorite views of the entire area. There is also some funny history of Hell Roaring, which we hiked by, where I spent the night camping in a fire pit during a different boys weekend a few years ago. Good times! We also had a chance to catch up with close friends that had a daughter the same age as Taylor. We look forward to spending more time with them next year either in Ketchum or some place on the road. It was great to be back in Ketchum and we are already planning what we want to do here next year.
