Barnyard RV Park, Columbia, SC

A surprising RV park just a few miles away from the SC campus and downtown Columbia area. The park is adjacent to a very large outdoor flea market. The market was closed during our stay, but it looks like these markets are a big draw for the area as there are several. We had a pull through site very near the office that was extremely long. The sites are dirt/gravel, but level, with a small concrete pad and a picnic table for an outdoor space. The park had cable, but we were able to connect our dish even with the scattered trees around the park. The trees provide a nice amount of shade to break up the heat of the sun when visiting during the summer months. The one downside was the wifi that was not usable for anything. The park has showers, bathrooms and showers, although I did not check them out. However, the price at $31/night puts this park in the 4 out of 5 category for price vs. site and amenities. If we end up back in the Columbia area, we will stay at this parks again.
