Galveston, Texas

We were pumped to get to our first beach stop on this year's adventure. Galveston is a great beach town and we fell in love with it. The first couple of days it was cloudy and hazy and we had some fantastic thunderstorms. The last two days were much better and we even spent some time at the beach soaking up some sun. We hit a few of the sites here along with the Moody House and the oil rig museum. I would highly recommend the museum as it was very informative about the offshore drilling industry and their technology. We had a good friend from Houston come down and meet us to tour the museum and for dinner and another set of friends met us the next day at Kemah boardwalk for drinks and dinner. All in all a great stop in Texas and we are sad to leave, but it is now time to move the roadshow into Louisiana.
